My Kids Christmas Gift Guide 2011

I love classic and vintage style toys for children. Often it’s the classics that they love the most and it’s even better if they are easy on the eye and well made enough to last more than one Christmas. Here is a little selection of some of my favourite children’s gifts for this year.

This rocking sheep is covered in real sheepskin to provide the most luxurious of riding experiences. It looks amazing too and would be a beautiful addition to any home. Rocking sheep, £295 at Whippet Grey.

My 18 month old son has one of these and he never tires of asking us again and again to wind it up to the tune of Pop Goes the Weasel. I, on the other hand…. A timeless classic. Jack in the Box, £17.95 from the Handpicked Collection.

For the budding ballerina, this classic tutu comes in several different colours and is sure to make your little girl feel like a princess. Tutu by Bugs and Fairies, £42 at notonthehighstreet.com.

This eco-friendly rocking bird chair is made from recycled wood and has a beautiful distressed patina as well as being uber cool. Royal Rocking Chair, £200 by Creme Anglaise at Bodie and Fou.
